Has anyone seen my Muse?

   I thought that I would be writing like mad, once I had set up this blog.  Now it exists and I find myself  in "no comment" mode.  It takes approximately 30 days to break a habit, so I suppose it's takes the same amount of time to create one.  How can I have "Writer's block" when I haven't started writing about anything?

Beginning at the beginning.....

   Dear Readers; 

   Welcome!  I am honoured by your presence.  Today, I am taking a giant leap into blogdom and I am not exactly sure where I will land, but hopefully, it will be a happy journey.
   I have thought about blogging for quite a while and have been reading blogs for several months. I am very interested in vintage and retro items and ideas, but I didn't want to limit the posts to those subjects only.  Choosing a name for the blog was very difficult, but I finally came up with "Re:" .  It's such a great little prefix, meaning "back" and "again"; it reflects my interest in the past and many words begin with "re".   So, with "Re:", I can blog about anything that piques my interest and hopefully my posts will pique your interest too.
